What is econsult
eConsult lets you patients consult with their own NHS GP online by completing a quick form that is sent and reviewed by the practice. We can also direct the patient to self-help, pharmacy advice and local self-referral services. eConsult is a clever bit of software that allows you to quickly and safely get help and advice from your own doctors
and GP practice online, for free, from anywhere.
What if I have an emergency?
Then eConsult will direct you to call either, 999 NHS 111, Urgent Care Centre or the Practice
I don’t have access to the internet, can I still call my practice?
Of course, we understand that not everyone will be able to use eConsult, so please call if you need appointments or advice
Can I go to a Pharmacy to ask about medications they sell or do I have to use eConsult?
Pharmacists are really knowledgeable about common illnesses and the treatments available over the counter, please do not hesitate to ask for advice at your local pharmacy
