PATCHS Telephone Assisstant – Freezywater

Freezywater Primary Care Centre is pleased to offer a new automated service for our patients – we have listened to patients concerns about long phone queues and waiting times – this new option means that in 4-5 mins you can complete a requests and leave the rest to us.

Our new PATCHs telephone assistant has proved very popular with many patients, they find it a quick and easy way to communicate with the practice and not have to wait in long telephone queue.  This service has now been expanded and will be main and easiest way to request appointments and sort out admin queries with the practice. 

Using Patchs Telephone Assistant ensures we will deal with your request on the same day.

Our Reception Team will not have access to many appointment slots, the Automated Service will  now be used to support patients requests, offering a quick and easy service.  All requests will be reviewed by a Clinician, patients will be contacted on the same day or sent a link to book an appointment.

How will I know that my request has been submitted to the surgery?After completing the questions you will be advised that your request has been successful and submitted to Lincoln Road
Will I need to create an account and have a login and password?No, just call the surgery on the normal number and select Telephone Assistant.  Once you have given your date of birth and name the system will find you
Can I submit a request on someone else’s behalf?Yes, if you have their consent to do so
How will I be contacted?You  may receive a call, text message or a link to book an appointment.
Do I need to know my NHS Number to use this service?No, all you need is you date of birth and name
